A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat is his most well-known and largest painting. Using pointillism, Seurat depicts people from different social classes strolling and relaxing in the park. This piece is said to be a founding work of the neo-impressionist movement.
The Artist Series artfully transforms paint strokes into paper strips using the ancient art of quilling. Each card takes several hours to make and reimagines a famous work of art into a magnificent greeting card that can either be sent and shared with loved ones or kept and framed as the work of art it is.

I read the other review and had to add my own. I was so amazed by the card as was my daughters. They were so jealous they didn't pick this one out. We each got different ones. It is a true winner!
The quilling is always great, the subject choice is more the problem for me. The fact that it is a busy picture with so many faces makes the quilling disproportionate to the small little faces . I found it didn’t have the smooth transition like The Lady in Gold that felt seamless.
