Our Own Sara is a 40 Under 40 Award Winner!

Congratulations to our fabulous Chief Design Officer Sara Schofield! She was recognized as a superstar member of the Class of 2021 Gift + Stationery 40 Under 40 Awards. This award offered annually by Stationery Trends and Gift Shop Plus, recognizes gift and stationery professionals for their contributions to the industry.

Sara has been an indispensable member of the Quilling Card team for almost 5 years. When Sara joined our family, she was the only graphic designer and worked her way to Senior Designer and now to Chief Design Officer. Today, she leads a team of four talented graphic designers managing and delegating all design projects from the creation of new greeting card designs to design for marketing materials.

During Sara’s time with Quilling Card, there have been many memorable projects that have gained her the recognition of 40 under 40.  

Sara was key in the creation of the Braille Collection. She worked directly with a local school for the blind to understand the braille language and translate it to quilling. She continued to manage the project once it was completed in outreach efforts and the creation of the press release.

Sara is also responsible for Quilling Card's logo design. She developed the iconic look we all know Quilling Card by today and has continued to develop the brand's identity through standardized product images and typography.

Another memorable contribution Sara has made is her Louie Award winning design, the Quilled Fireflies Greeting Card. One of many best selling designs Sara has created but this one received industry recognition.
