Our Partnership with Joy to Life #breastcancerawareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are beyond excited about our new partnership with the Joy to Life Foundation!

Joy to Life is a  foundation with a simple mission: provide free mammograms and other breast cancer screenings when necessary to medically underserved women in Alabama, provide limited grants when needed, build and support breast cancer awareness among all Alabamians, and promote overall good health, well-being, and education throughout the state.  

Founded in 2001 by breast cancer survivor Joy Blondheim and her husband Dickie, the Joy to Life Foundation continues to grow each year. They’ve provided thousands of mammograms and hundreds of screenings and physician visits to the underserved in Alabama. Through their efforts hundreds of cancers have been diagnosed and treated. This has all been made possible through donations and the purchase of select products that contribute to the foundation’s efforts.

After working closely with Dickie to develop a custom quilled card for their foundation, we fell in love with their spirit and mission and have partnered to create a one-of-a-kind card in the Quilling Card line where a portion of each purchase made will directly support the efforts of the Joy to Life Foundation.
